The Annual Water Sports Day has grown in popularity over the years. Participants and volunteers come back year after year to take part. However, we would be unable to hold such an event without the gracious support of the community sponsors. These sponsors make it possible for the event to be free of charge to all those who want to take part. This has become a special day for special people and we hope to be able to continue this event for many years to come.

	Phoenix Rehabilitation Associates, Inc. and the Wilmington Disabled Athletic Association have partnered to create the annual Adapted Water Sports Day. This event, which took place initially in 1997, gives persons with disabilities an opportunity to take part in water sports in a safe environment.
	US Coast Guard & US Coast Guard Auxiliary Provide safe waters for our event every year. We would like to Extend a Special thanks to them!
